This new addition to the Asics’ technical running range offers a slightly more supportive alternative to the GEL–Kayano. The IGS and reflective sole allows the athletes foot to perform in a more natural manner, whilst the slightly angled and Asymmetric Heel offers smoother transition between impact and take–off. The overall risk of overpronation is reduced. Cushioning systems in both the forefoot and rearfoot reduce the impact forces on the foot, enhancing propulsion. The GEL-3000 is designed to focus on forefoot overpronation, preventing the inward rolling of the foot and allowing weight to be evenly distributed throughout.
